Repair works to the sports hall floor
Following essential improvement works to the sports hall, a flood has damaged the floor. This has led to half of the hall being closed for repairs. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Classes, swim school, adult sessions and fun sessions
Swimmers of all faiths are encouraged to swim at Thornton Heath. Please note that during special Muslim sessions male costumes must cover the body from the naval to the knee and females must be covered from the neck to the ankles and wrists.
Teaching pool
The teaching pool is 0.9m deep and maintained at an average temperature of 30C. It is used for a full range of swim school lessons and birthday parties.
Gym
Fitted with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, the gym offers air conditioning and large, multi-channel televisions. In addition, it is staffed with experienced fitness professionals who cater for everyone.
Studio
The air-conditioned studio is used for an extensive range of exercise classes.
Sports hall
The sports hall programme offers a variety of activities including table tennis, basketball, football, netball, trampolining and so much more. It is also available for hire for special events and shows.
Café
An extensive menu is available in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Our chef prepares a special 'meal of the day'.
Créche
For children aged 1-5. The creche provides a fun and interactive environment for your child while you participate in the activity of your choice. Note: it is advised to book in advance as places are limited.
Healthy Living Centre
Run by Croydon Voluntary Action, the Healthy Living Centre offers advice and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Bookings can now be made online. Please contact the centre to request your login, personal pin and further information.
