To report a repair
Use the online housing repairs form.
To report a repair by telephone (Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm), contact the repairs team - see contact details below.
For emergency repairs outside these hours, and on weekends and Bank Holidays, phone 020 8726 6000.
Will I get an appointment if I report a repair online?
You will be asked to give a contact telephone number and/or an email address so we can contact you to arrange a convenient time to do the repair.
Repair appointments are:
- 8am - 11am
- 11am - 2pm
- 2pm - 5pm
and we'll even send you a text reminder before we come to make sure you don't forget to stay in! All we ask is that you let us know if you're not going to be there so that we can rearrange the appointment.
Specialist repairs, such as to lifts, will continue to be arranged for either 8am to 1pm or 12pm to 5pm and appointment slots do not apply to emergency repairs or jobs that are considered urgent - these will be attended to within 2 and 24 hours.
Will you need to visit before doing the repair?
Only if measurement of the work is needed or it is not straightforward. Please give us as much accurate information as possible.
Will I be charged for a repair?
If damage arises from your neglect, for example, if you lose your house keys and require access, or if you deliberately break fixtures or fittings then we may charge you for the repair. We rely on you to prevent repairs, for example by keeping gullies and drains in and around your home free from blockages.
When will the repair be done?
We have agreed with residents how quickly a repair should be done. This is known as the 'Priority' and depends on how urgent the work is. See your Repairs Guide for the relative priorities. If you have lost your repairs guide, contact your repairs officer - see contact details below.
