Assessment of need

We have to assess your needs before we can help you - so we will talk to you and your carers to find out about your difficulties and how best we can help you.

Many of our services are free but we may need to charge for others. We will tell you how much you have to contribute to the service you receive.

Services are also provided by the Assessment Children In Need Service based at Mayday Hospital. As well as specialist social workers, an independent living officer works across both the adults' and children's divisions.

South London HIV Partnership

A wide range of services is delivered through the South London HIV Partnership. Many of these services are 'direct access' so you don't need a referral from us. Services include:

They can help with information and advice on HIV, including welfare information, housing, benefits and how to access all South London HIV Partnership services. They are also able to provide information on HIV services provided by other organisations.
