Croydon Drop In - Support for Young People offers free, confidential information and short-term counselling for young people aged 11-25 years. Also offers advocacy and advice for justice and equality, housing and benefits. Outreach services also cover sexual health, mental health and substance misuse.
Croydon Welcare offers a family support advice service, as well as advocacy, an informal counselling service and practical support to individual families and a parenting group programme.
Housing Advice Project for Young People (HAP<25) provides housing advice, family mediation and homelessness prevention, individual advocacy and support to around 1,100 vulnerable young people every year.
National Deaf Children’s Society provides support, advice, information, equipment, advocacy and courses on education, health and benefits for deaf children, their families and professionals.
NCH Rightfully Yours is a free service for young people in or from Croydon between the ages of 0 and 25. It is for children and young people who are in care, entering and leaving care, or in need. It is part of the children's charity NCH. It takes referrals from children and young people directly or from someone on their behalf. Please see NCH Rightfully Yours for more information.
Off The Record Young Carers Support Project is for young people from the age of six (maximum of 18 at point of referral) who look after or help to look after a family member with an illness, disability or a drug, alcohol or mental health problem. It offers home visits, information, advice, advocacy, holiday grants, a volunteer befriending scheme and help with school issues. There are regular activities, outings and holidays, a weekly youth club and a learning support club.
