Croydon Council's Fostering Team needs to recruit a wide variety of foster carers to meet the different needs of children in the Council's care. We particularly need to recruit Black and White carers from all backgrounds for teenagers. We also need carers for brothers and sisters so they can stay together and more families to reflect the the dual heritage of a number of the children in Croydon's care.
We prefer foster carers to live in the borough of Croydon or close enough to be able to take children to school in Croydon.
The Fostering Information meeting gives people interested in fostering the opportunity to hear a short presentation about fostering and find out further details about the application process. After the presentation there is time to talk in small groups to experienced foster carers, social workers and young people who have been fostered by Croydon.
For a Fostering Information Pack please contact 0800 389 0129.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE SEPARATE ADOPTION INFORMATION MEETINGS HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. PLEASE SEE ADOPTION INFORMATION MEETING HANDOUT BELOW.
