Registration process
You do not have to be registered to get help and advice from us but you do need to be experiencing sight difficulties that have a significant effect on your ability to carry out day-to-day activities.
If an ophthalmologist completes a certificate of visual impairment, you can ask to be registered with Croydon Council. You can contact us via social services for adults (details below).
If you are having significant visual difficulties and have not been medically examined, or wish to register, please contact your GP for a referral to your local eye unit.
