Introduction
We employ a team of specialist workers who provide a community based service to Croydon residents. We offer assessments for deaf people and their carers, leading to care planning and implementation.
The specialist workers in the Deaf Team have British Sign Language skills allowing them to communicate with people who are born profoundly deaf whose first language may not be English.
We also work with people who have become deaf through illness or accident.
