Croydon Deaf Club

Croydon Deaf Club meets every Friday from 8.00pm to 11.00pm.

Croydon Hearing Resource Centre

This service gives advice and help to individuals who are hard of hearing and deaf. Services offered include replacement hearing aid batteries (NHS), environmental equipment assessments (flashing/vibrating doorbells, minicoms etc) and re-tubing hearing aids by appointment.

Croydon Community Equipment Service

A joint Health Service and Social Services equipment store based at the Access Ability Centre. All equipment is collected and delivered from this location. Contact them if you have equipment from Social Services which has become faulty or is no longer required.

Shape Tickets

Shape Tickets is a ticket scheme to help deaf and other disabled people visit a wide range of arts and entertainment events across London, often at reduced prices and with no booking fees. Membership of Shape Tickets is £25 per year, and you are eligible to join if you are deaf or disabled. If you are unable to get to the venue on your own, you can book an Access Assistant who can take you from your home to the event, attend it with you, and return you back home afterwards at no extra cost to you.

Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID)

The RNID work for all deaf people ranging from the hard of hearing to the profoundly deaf. Services include residential care, communication support and training.

National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS)

The NDCS provides support, advice, information, equipment, advocacy and courses on education, health and benefits for deaf children, their families and professionals.

Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD)

RAD works with the deaf community in London East and South East England, offering a range of support services to deaf people, children and their families.

British Deaf Association (BDA)

The BDA offers education, youth and promotion services to deaf people who use sign language, to ensure they have the same opportunities as other citizens.

UK Council on Deafness

The UK Council on Deafness represents other deaf organisations in the UK, providing advice, support and presenting the view of the sector to government and policy makers.

Deafblind UK

Deafblind UK is a national charity which provides a wide range of services for deafblind adults and their carers and campaigns on their behalf.

Sense

Sense has expertise in working with deafblind people, with a wide age range from newly diagnosed to older people.

Disability Rights Commission

A government agency providing information for disabled people and their families in such areas as health, employment and education.
