Shopmobility
You can hire an electric shopping scooter or wheelchair from Shopmobility in the Whitgift Car Park.
When can I use Shopmobility?
We are open from 9am Monday to Saturday and 11am on Sunday and bank holidays. Wheelchairs and scooters should be returned by 4.30pm as the office closes at 5pm.
A member of staff will show you how to use the wheelchairs or scooters. Bring along a friend if you want someone to help you.
How much does it cost?
If you are a visitor or infrequent user, the service will cost £3 per day, plus a refundable deposit of £10.
If you are going to use Shopmobility regularly, why not save money by registering with us?
When registering, please bring some identification with you.
Once you have paid the registration fee of £10, you can hire a wheelchair or a scooter for only £1.50 a day.
Where can I use Shopmobility?
You can use the wheelchairs and scooters in the area extending from East Croydon Station to the end of Church Street, and North End to High Street.
Disabled parking permits (Blue Badges)
If you use Shopmobility, you may be eligible for a Blue Badge.
