Older Persons' and Disabled - Freedom Pass

New Freedom Passes from 1 April 2010

The Freedom Pass allows free travel in London for the over 60’s and disabled people.  From the 1st April 2010 the Freedom Pass will have a new look. Instead of a separate photo card the photo will now be on the Freedom Pass.

All current Freedom Pass holders will need to renew their pass before the 31st March 2010 to continue to receive free travel.

Freedom passes on the way

We understand from London Councils that, due to the high volume of requests for passes, they are taking longer to process than expected. We have been assured that passes are on the way to residents who have already submitted an application.

Residents who have yet to apply for a new pass, are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

You can continue to use your current pass until 31 March 2010.

The Freedom Pass is paid for by Croydon Council, and administered by London Councils. For the latest updates and information on freedom passes, please visit www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/freedompass or contact 0845 275 7054 or 020 7934 9633, 9am to 5pm Mondays to Friday.
