Term, holiday and other closure dates
The following school term dates apply to most Croydon local authority schools.
Some, in particular voluntary aided schools, have slightly different holiday and term dates.
Most schools vary these dates slightly to accommodate five training days in each academic year when pupils are not in attendance - please check with individual schools.
Autumn term 2009
3 September - 18 December
Half term: 26 - 30 October
Spring term 2010
4 January - 1 April
Half term: 15 - 19 February
Summer Term 2010
19 April - 23 July
Bank holiday: 3 and 31 May
Half term: 31 May - 4 June
