School performance
RAISEonline is produced annually for schools by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). It is an interactive tool which enables schools to compare their data with that of other schools of a similar intake and type. The report is electronic and presents data as a series of tables and charts. Schools can use the tool to see how effective they are with both individuals and groups of pupils. It allows schools to identify the progress of individuals and groups within their schools and make national comparisons. The format is standard and each school receives data specific to their particular school.
Fischer Family Trust is a charitable organisation that provides school-specific data. This report helps schools to identify pupils vulnerable to underachievement. It also supports schools in target setting as it makes predictions of future progress based on the progress of individuals. Schools are encouraged to consider the D predictor for all pupils. They are also encouraged to use data to help them to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and to make curriculum changes wherever appropriate.
