Our policy at Initial Catering Services is to purchase, prepare and sell foods which meet all food safety requirements, including those of the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Food Labelling (Amendment) Regulations 1999.
We at Initial Catering Services are aware that, in light of current scientific research, there are genuine concerns with regard to the consumption of genetically modified foods, particularly where children are involved.
In response to these concerns, we at Initial Catering Services have worked closely with our Suppliers and can state that at the present time we do not knowingly prepare or serve food which contains genetically modified ingredients.
In addition it is not part of our Company Policy to intentionally introduce such foods in the future.
Our policy statement is subject to ongoing review and in any change to our policy statement we would be mindful of both the law and our customers concerns.
