Transfer from primary to secondary school at 11+

The arrangements for applying for school places vary depending upon the age of the child and the types of school required.

The likelihood of being offered a place at your preferred school depends on a number of things, for example, whether the school has a vacancy and, if there is no vacancy, whether your child has any priority on the school's waiting list.

You can apply online on the Your London website, instead of using a paper application for both primary and secondary school places. Before applying for a place you may wish to do some research and the information on the following pages is designed to help you with this.
