The current salary for a newly qualified teacher on Scale Point M1 is £19,641. Teachers working in Croydon are eligible for the Outer London Area allowance taking their starting salary to £22,554.
Individual schools may offer you an early start date or help towards relocation costs. This is a matter for discussion between you and the school.
