Croydon Council Awards 2010
The Croydon Council Awards celebrate the hard work commitment and dedication of council staff in going the extra mile for the organisation and our customers.
Leading by example, the previous finalists and winners of the Croydon Council Awards have inspired and motivated others to take up the vision, pursuit and practice of excellence within the organisation
As a customer of the council, you will see and contact some staff more than others, but we hope, irrespective of role, you always find professional and efficient service.
If someone working for the council has gone out of their way to provide a level of service that has impressed you, please nominate them for our Proud to Serve: Going the Extra Mile Award.
Nominations may be made for anyone who delivers service on behalf of Croydon Council, so this specifically includes the partner companies we work with.
How to decide
If a member of staff may have gone the extra mile to provide a level of service that has impressed you by for example:
- handling a very difficult situation or sensitive matter particularly well
- dealing professionally with a crisis
- going out of their way to provide you with service or information beyond which you were expecting, for example, explaining additional entitlements and how to access them
- helping you understand changes that improve your experience of our services.
How to nominate
You can nominate individuals by completing the Croydon Council Awards online form.
