You see and contact some staff more than others, but we hope, irrespective of role, you always find professional and efficient service.
Sometimes you may feel that someone has gone out of their way to provide a level of service that has impressed you. We would like you to nominate them for our Going the Extra Mile Award.
Nominations may be made for anyone who delivers service on behalf of Croydon Council, so this specifically includes the Partner companies we work with.
How to decide
A member of staff may have gone the extra mile to provide a level of service that has impressed you by for example:
- handling a very difficult situation or sensitive matter particularly well,
- dealing professionally with a crisis,
- going out of their way to provide you with service or information beyond that which you were expecting, eg explaining additional entitlements and how to access them
- helping you understand changes that improve your experience of our services.
How to nominate
You can nominate individuals by completing the online form. Please use this if you can as it will help us. However, forms are also available in our One Stop Receptions and in Libraries.
To help our judging panels with their selection, please provide as much information as possible when making your nominations.
The nomination process is continuous, but the deadline for inclusion in each annual judging is the end of June.
