Information for researchers

As a researcher, if you are thinking of conducting research in regard to health and social care, the attached documents will provide you with all the information you need to know to undertake the research.  Croydon is keen in ensuring that all research conducted in connection with Adult and Children’s Social Care is done so to the best of standards and ethical practice.   Document 1; RGF – Background Information and Guidance and Document 2; RGF - Principles of good research and research proposal guide.

How to submit an application

To submit an application, please see the attached application form and guidance note (Document 3 – Application Form and Guidance Notes). The Research Governance Lead (contact details below) is available to discuss any queries or issues you may have and where possible provide guidance in completing the application. To ensure you are fully aware of the process, what it involves and the standard of research that is acceptable please ensure you read documents 1 and 2.
