Drug and Alcohol Action Team
What do we do?
We are responsible for the local delivery of the National Drugs Strategy (2002).
This includes making sure we successfully achieve key targets in terms of:

education and prevention

getting more people into drug treatment
-
reducing drug related crime
-
reducing supply
-
empowering local communities to resist drug misuse
Headed by the DAAT Co-ordinator, the Unit's remit covers both drug and alcohol misuse in terms of strategy, pooled budgets and agencies' performance.
