What is a petition?
A petition is a formal request, appealing the council about a particular cause. It must be written, either by hand or electronically, in the format set out in the petition guidelines.
Who can submit a petition?
Any person of any age who lives, works or studies in the borough can submit a petition.
What happens to submitted petitions?
This depends on how many signatures are collected.
