London Borough of Croydon

Registering to vote

From 1 June 2007 a system of anonymous registration has been available to people who feel their safety would be at risk if their name and address were listed on the electoral register. It is also available to members of the household of the persons at risk.

Applicants for anonymous registration must give the reasons why they feel they would be at risk and support these with a court order or attestation by a specific, qualified individual such as a chief police officer or director of social services. They must also meet normal registration requirements.

For more information or an application form please contact the Electoral Services Team.
