Football tournament to kickstart London Week of Peace

Safer Croydon Partnership and Crystal Palace Football Club are holding a football tournament for young people at Power League Norbury between 10.30 am and 3 pm on Friday 29 August.
The free tournament is being run to promote the London Week of Peace which runs from 13 September to 21 September 2008. This annual event aims to promote community cohesion and this year focuses on the challenges faced by young people in the capital.
Winners will be presented with their trophies at Crystal Palace Football Club at the beginning of London Peace Week on 13 September during half time at the match against Swansea. Additional trophies will be awarded to the team that best embraces the ethos of Peace Week - those with the least fouls, or red or yellow cards and the best team work.
