Croydon Council's low-cost home ownership open day takes place at Croydon Town Hall, Katharine Street, on Friday 6 June from 1pm to 8pm.

The event offers potential buyers the chance to find out more about a range of options available in the borough to help them purchase a property they can afford.

There are many low-cost schemes available in Croydon giving more people a greater opportunity to buy a home of their own.

Presentations on home ownership schemes will take place at 1.15pm, 2.45pm, 4.15pm, 5.45pm and 7.15pm.

Presentations on additional schemes available to Croydon Council tenants will be held at 2.00pm, 3.30pm, 5.00pm and 6.30pm.

Cllr Dudley Mead, cabinet member for housing, said: "Owning your own home in Croydon might be easier than you think. Our open day will offer advice and information about low-cost home ownership schemes to help people get a foothold on the property ladder."
