- It's a Crime

- Private sector racial harassment

- Joint anti-homophobia policy statement

The Housing Advice service investigates complaints of racial harassment from people in the borough who are not council tenants, with a view to prosecuting perpetrators of harassment under the Protection from Eviction Act 1977 or other relevant legislation and provides support to victims. This is treated as a priority. There are tight deadlines for conducting the investigation. If you are suffering racial harassment or you know anyone who is, refer them to Housing Advice immediately or call the racial harassment hotline on 020 8407 1333.
If you are a council tenant suffering racial harassment, you should contact your tenancy officer at your district office or call the racial harassment hotline.
