Marriage - Croydon Register Office
If you choose to get married or register a civil partnership in Croydon Register Office we aim to make your wedding day very special, leaving you to enjoy the occasion with your families, friends and each other.
You may wish to have a simple affair with just two witnesses or a more traditional ceremony with best man, bridesmaids, guests, music, readings, video and photographs. No matter what your preference is, we will be happy to discuss the arrangements with you. A brochure is given upon booking a ceremony.
The Register Office is located in the centre of Croydon with easy access by public transport and a range of parking facilities nearby. There are pleasant gardens opposite for photographs.
The Ceremonies Suite is on the ground floor of the Register Office with easy access for disabled and elderly visitors. There is an elegant ceremonies room, which has seating for up to 60 guests with room for a further 25 standing, and an attractive waiting room. The rooms have floral decorations which are changed according to the season: you can also provide additional floral arrangements for the day if you wish.
There are toilet, disabled toilet and baby-changing facilities within the Register Office. If you would like to view The Ceremonies Suite please contact us, we will be more than happy to show you around.
The ceremony
We can also offer music, readings of poetry or prose - you may like to choose your own. Any music or readings must not contain any religious elements.
