Interpreting and translating
- Croydon translation and interpreting service

- Interpreter recruitment

Our goal is to enable effective communications between customers and the council by conveying the sense and meaning of one language into another.
We aim to deliver accurate material that retains the meaning of the original communication.
We offer:
- interpreters for verbal communications (face-to-face or over the telephone) and
- translators for written information.
We can provide a service in most community languages, including sign language and braille.
Our interpreters are carefully selected for their qualifications, work record and experience.
To set up a three-way meeting between you, one of our service providers and an interpreter, or to request written information in your language, please contact the relevant department.
If you are interested in becoming an interpreter or translator for Croydon Council, please see our Interpreter recruitment page by following the link at the top of this page.
