Smartcards
You can replace your existing library and leisure card with the borough's free smartcard at the central library. These are safer, more secure and mean fewer cards for you to carry. In time, many more services will be added to the Borough smartcard, such as 'cashless' parking, payment for school meals and making smaller payments for minor transactions, such as paying for services in libraries.
Once you have a smartcard you can register it with Transport for London's ticketing system, Oyster. This will enable you to:
- Travel using the Oyster payment system
- Use the library
- Leisure activities.
