Why equality and diversity in procurement?

The council considers equality and diversity to be an essential element of the modernisation agenda for Croydon.

We are committed to an equalities and diversity policy, which we regard as being in the mainstream of the authority's work. An important part of this commitment is encouraging and, where possible, requiring companies and other organisations that bid for council services to practise equalities in employment and service delivery.
