Q. How do I sell products and services to the council?

A. The council has a number of regulations, values and policies covering the way it buys goods and services. These include Croydon's approach to best value, equality, environmental issues, health and safety and competition. Q. Does the council have a list of approved suppliers?
A. The council has adopted the government-sponsored Constructionline database as the source for selecting contractors and consultants to tender for council construction projects. Q. What documentation do I need to tender for business with the council?

Q. How do I find out when a contract is being tendered and how to tender for it?
A. A list of council contracts, including details of anticipated renewal dates, can be viewed on the Current contracts 'See also' link. All council tenders are advertised as appropriate and details of advertised tenders are published on the 'Tender opportunities' page (see 'See also' link). Contact details relating to the specific tender will be published with the advert.

A. Where appropriate, all council tenders are advertised on the 'Tender opportunities' page of this website. They can also be found via the supply2gov.co.uk associated link (for contracts under £100,000), in relevant trade magazines and in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), in the case of tenders exceeding the EC thresholds for procurement. All our tender-related adverts include contact information.
