The Croydon business development partnership (CBDP) is a public private sector partnership that brings together a cross section of key players in Croydon from primarily the private sector and from the public sector. The aim of the CBDP is to position and promote Croydon as one of the best economies and a really good place to do business.
The role of the partnership is to:
- identify and address the key economic issues facing Croydon
- develop a widely-supported vision for Croydon, driven primarily by the private sector in partnership with the council
- produce a realistic plan with short-term tangible outputs and ensure that this is delivered
- present a united view to government (both UK and European) in attracting the support and the resources to do what needs to be done.
