Croydon is looking to run one or more farmers' markets. To receive email notification in the event of a new Croydon farmers' market being set up, please email your details to the address given below.
There is a farmers' market in Wallington on the second Saturday of the month from 9.30am to 1.30pm by the old Town Hall. Wallington is easy to reach by train from West Croydon station.
A wide range of produce is available direct from local farms up to 30 or 40 miles away. Stalls include juice, apples and pumpkins from Godstone, vegetables and plants from Sutton and Epsom, organic bread from East Sussex, lamb from Edenbridge, confectionery from Sussex and much more.
All the food is locally grown, reared, raised, baked, caught or produced by the seller. This cuts down on the pollution created by transportation and packaging is also minimal.
