Scrap metal registration
Premises that sell scrap metal require registration.
If want to sell scrap metal, including any old metal, broken, worn out or partly manufactured articles, etc. then apply to us for a registration in accordance with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964.
How to apply for a registration
Please download the application form and guidance notes.
The registration is valid for three years from the date of issue and there is no charge for the registration.
