All premises that are holding sales by competitive bidding have to be registered, as required by the GLC (General Powers Act) 1984.
How to apply for a registration
Please download the application form.
The registration is a one-off application and there is no annual fee payable.

You should send the completed form to the address below together with the appropriate fee. All cheques should be made payable to Croydon Council. To find out more about the fees, visit Licence and registration fees page.
If you already hold a registration and want to tell us about an upcoming auction please download the notification form. The completed form should be sent to the address below at least seven days before the event.
Complaints
If you want to make a complaint about someone who is operating an auction please complete an online customer feedback form.
