Adults in need
Who can we help?
We can help if you are over 18 years of age and you, or a member of your family, require help and support in accessing community services which can help you to remain or regain independence, or are subject to immigration controls and need help and advice to access support services.
We may also be able to help you if you need some support or assistance to live independently in the community and other services are not able to assist you.
Some support services can be contacted directly, or you may want us to contact them for you. Either way, we will give you the information you need so you can make the choice.
Assessment
So that we know how we can help you, we will ask you what your difficulties are and how you think we can help. This is called an assessment of your needs and we will talk to you and your carers to work out how best we can assist you.
Costs
Some of the services we provide are free and some we may have to charge you for. We will tell you how much you have to contribute to the service you receive.
